TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE FOR HELLO CLASS

  1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Hello Class platform (“Platform”), operated by Pipal Tree Investments Private Limited (“Company”, “Hello Class”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing, registering for, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

  1. ABOUT HELLO CLASS

Hello Class is a school management and educational technology platform that provides tools and services including:

  • Student information management
  • Attendance management
  • Academic record management
  • Parent communication
  • Assessment management
  • AI-assisted educational content generation
  • School administration services
  • Communication and notification services
  1. ELIGIBILITY

Schools

Schools may subscribe to and use the Platform through authorized representatives.

Teachers and Staff

Teachers and school staff may use the Platform only with authorization from their institution.

Parents and Guardians

Parents and guardians may access services relating to their children where access has been provided by the school.

Students

Students may access the Platform subject to school authorization and applicable parental consent requirements.

  1. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate information;
  • Maintain updated account information;
  • Keep login credentials secure;
  • Notify Hello Class of unauthorized account use.

Users are responsible for activities occurring under their accounts.

  1. SCHOOL RESPONSIBILITIES

Schools using Hello Class agree that they are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate student, parent, teacher, and staff information;
  • Obtaining permissions required by law;
  • Ensuring information uploaded to the Platform is lawful;
  • Maintaining confidentiality of user credentials;
  • Managing user access rights within their institution.

Hello Class is not responsible for inaccuracies introduced by schools or their authorized users.

  1. ACCEPTABLE USE

Users shall not:

  • Violate any applicable law;
  • Upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or fraudulent content;
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code;
  • Interfere with Platform operations;
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized persons;
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the Platform except as permitted by law.
  1. CHILDREN’S DATA

Processing of children’s personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

Parents or guardians may exercise rights relating to their child’s personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

  1. AI-GENERATED CONTENT

The Platform may use artificial intelligence technologies to generate:

  • Lesson plans
  • Educational content
  • Question papers
  • Assessments
  • Learning materials

AI-generated content is provided as an educational aid.

Schools, teachers, and users remain solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving all generated content before use.

Hello Class does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, suitability, or educational appropriateness of AI-generated content.

  1. COMMUNICATION SERVICES

The Platform may send communications through:

  • Email
  • SMS
  • WhatsApp Business solutions
  • In-app notifications

Such communications may include:

  • Attendance notifications
  • School announcements
  • Academic updates
  • Platform-related notices

Users may manage communication preferences where applicable.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Platform, including its software, trademarks, logos, designs, documentation, content, and technology, is owned by Pipal Tree Investments Private Limited or its licensors.

Except as expressly permitted, users may not:

  • Copy
  • Distribute
  • Modify
  • Sell
  • License
  • Reproduce

any portion of the Platform without written permission.

  1. USER CONTENT

Users retain ownership of content submitted to the Platform.

By submitting content, users grant Hello Class a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display such content solely for providing Platform services.

Users warrant that they have all rights necessary to upload submitted content.

  1. PRIVACY

Use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy.

Users acknowledge that personal data may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

  1. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND FEES

Where applicable:

  • Subscription fees are payable according to the selected plan;
  • Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing;
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of services.

Pricing may be updated upon prior notice.

  1. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

Hello Class aims to provide reliable access to the Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Services may be interrupted due to:

  • Maintenance
  • Security updates
  • Network failures
  • Force majeure events
  • Third-party service disruptions
  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Platform may integrate with third-party providers including:

  • AI service providers
  • Messaging providers
  • Cloud hosting providers
  • Identity verification providers

Hello Class is not responsible for the independent policies or practices of third-party services.

  1. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hello Class disclaims all warranties, including:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy of generated content
  • Continuous availability
  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Pipal Tree Investments Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Use of the Platform;
  • Inability to use the Platform;
  • Loss of data;
  • Service interruptions;
  • Third-party failures;
  • AI-generated content;
  • User-generated content.

In no event shall Hello Class’s aggregate liability exceed the fees paid by the affected customer during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

  1. INDEMNITY

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pipal Tree Investments Private Limited from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Violation of applicable laws;
  • Infringement of third-party rights;
  • Misuse of the Platform.
  1. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

Hello Class may suspend or terminate access where:

  • These Terms are violated;
  • Security risks are identified;
  • Payment obligations are not met;
  • Required by law or regulatory authorities.

Upon termination, access to the Platform may be discontinued.

  1. FORCE MAJEURE

Hello Class shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government actions
  • Internet outages
  • Cyberattacks
  • Power failures
  • Pandemics
  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

  1. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations.

If unresolved, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

  1. CHANGES TO TERMS

Hello Class may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated through:

  • Platform notifications;
  • Email notifications; or
  • Website updates.

Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
